Pratsam Reader is is a pc-software supporting playback of talking newspapers and audio books via the internet. The software automatically retrieves the subscribed to information and plays it back to the user via the computers audio device.
Simple user interface
The user interface consists of big clear buttons that require no reading capabilities by the user. The software continuously communicates with the user using audio prompts. The user can choose to navigate the material using the keyboard arrows or using the mouse.
Support for Daisy
Pratsam Reader supports international Daisy-standards such as Daisy 2.02, Daisy OK draft and Daisy Online, which makes it possible to integrate with several existing online Daisy services.
